Lepakkoluola

The heroes of historical stories are often men. We wanted to make an anthology where women get the main roles, and love between women is well represented.

Lepakkoluola is a feminist, pro-LGBT collection of comics. It is a much requested sequel to our previous sold-out anthology, Hyi Homoa!, but can be read separately. Stories in Lepakkoluola take place in the era of witch-hunts, the second world war and Edo-era Japan, to name a few.

The artists included are Tubbs, Ainur Elmgren, Eva Eskelinen, Leppu, Miukki Kekkonen, Anayte and Matti Delahay, Muura, Ella Kurki, Dawn Davis, Ered, Milla Sainio, Myrntai, multa, Joiuu, Hanna-Pirita Lehkonen, Raakel Hokkanen and Suspu Nousiainen.

Lepakkoluola will be published in autumn 2014.

We had a crowdfunding page at Mesenaatti and got amazing response! Thanks to our amazing supporters;
